St Mary’s Flower Team is a small, dedicated group who enjoy the challenge of creating floral designs for the Pro-Cathedral. We work on a two-week roster throughout the year, with no flowers during Lent and a simpler arrangement on Our Lady’s altar during Advent.

Team members are rostered approximately twice a year, and we come together at Easter and Christmas to create the additional floral displays for these special celebrations. We are not trained florists—just people with a genuine interest in flowers and a willingness to help.

For our regular rostered weeks, we mainly use flowers from our own gardens. A small budget is available, with expenses reimbursed by the Parish Office upon presentation of receipts. Flowers are purchased for the major celebrations of Easter and Christmas.
